The basic goal of the game is to protect your ancient while attempting to destroy the ancient of your enemy. The game allows players to chose from over 90 heroes having special magical abilities and over 150 different artifacts in order to battle the opponents and accomplish their mission. Players are assisted by allied heroes and AI controlled units called ‘creeps’, making DoTA a highly synchronized and team play game.
You can start off the battle as Sentinels against the ominous Sourge or vice-versa, each side providing you access to different hero classes and gameplay strategies, until you invoke all player game mode, ofcourse. Unlike other strategy games, DoTA has a lot to offer to its fans.
