WiFi Guard is a free application (freeware), which has a feature to monitor who is connected to our WiFi connection, and there is no warning if the new user is connected. With this application, you can scan our WiFi connection and display the IP addresses which are connected. Additionally we can set to automatically scan and alert when a device is connected.

The application is fairly easy to use, the first run is select Network Adapter (WiFi devices) that we use. After that, we click the scan button and it will display the IP addresses which are connected.

Setting the scan interval can be set via the Settings menu. The good, the program is available for Windows 2000 and above (both portable and installer), Mac OS 10.4 and above, and Linux with GTK + 2.8 and above. Available both 32bit and 64bit.

If we want our WiFi connection is secure, make sure to use a password to protect access (preferably using WPA or WPA2). But if it has been given a password and there was a new device is connected via Wifi Guard, might have to hack WiFi passwords, and should be replaced with a new, more secure password.

Download WiFi Guard ( 1.5 MB).
